Hello 2012, Goodbye Coffee

goals for 2012:

  1. no more coffee. yerba mate instead
  2. no more beer
  3. no more carbs
  4. no more working on sinking ship projects on time off
  5. lots more learning
  6. lots more art
  7. work on anxiety issues
  8. be a better dad
  9. be a better husband
  10. save more money

simple enough, right? why do I feel like I’ve been here before?

  1. Sheeeet, you’ve got me thinking about it, too. I went off for ten days in Oct/Nov to get my intake under control. And now I’m practically freebasing again.

    • I went a month or two in the fall without coffee. I had one cup of coffee this past week. I’ve been drinking yerba mate instead. Supposedly it is a third of the caffeine. Seems to be much gentler on the stomach. And no more jitters!
