I wanted all day to write down what I was doing:) Thanks for the opportunity!

I sewed up 7 Christmas aprons for a holiday party (for kids) at daycare, I sewed valances for my laundry room (first attempt, very excited), I cooked 3 different types of bread, about 8 loaves total, to freeze and have as Christmas/hostess gifts, I cleaned the kitchen, we hung lights on our tree, we played and sledded in the snow, I did 2 loads of laundry, did I mention the steak dinner with shallot and sage mashed potatoes?

Loves days like that :)

Wow! What a cool day. I really like the woodcarving and printing stuff! (I selfishly think how neat it would be to see you carve a nativity scene in wood and print it as Christmas cards for your friends to buy!!!) :-)

Since you asked: We did our trip to Baltimore to the BSO Polar Express (awesome!) and then had lunch at a place called "Shirley's" (did I remember that right?---it was a breakfast/lunch uppity diner in downtown Baltimore!) Drove home in the snow, and opened our Christmas puzzle (St. Nick was supposed to bring it today, but it was perfect for the afternoon yesterday!) We worked on that for a little bit (girls got bored---it is a 1000 piece puzzle after all!) and then girls went to bed and we watched a bit of Harry Potter on TV. It was a nice day, but we're all tuckered out. Looking forward to chilling today and maybe catching some football.
