the beard continues to grow… unfortunately, the built-in camera on my laptop takes poopy pictures. I think the hairs are an inch or more in length. what’s crazy is it’s getting wavy.
I’m getting attached to it. people keep saying, “you’ll shave when it gets warm, won’t you?”
we’ll see, but I’m not sure…
Awesome! Does it keep you warm on your bike? I find that I can often get away without wearing a scarf during the day on mine.
I’m ashamed to admit and confess publicly that I haven’t ridden out of doors since the end of December.
I am planning on starting up again with commuting next week!
I find the beard keeps me warm all the time though
I was only mentioning shaving because you were wearing short sleeves and it just looked a bit “off”… but I am sure I will get used to it… oops maybe not… he he he
Don’t be ashamed! I know plenty of people who have not been out since there were still leaves on the trees, on principle:)
We have been having some dirty and nasty weather lately here. I personally don’t go out on two wheels with salt and whatever else the city puts on the roads and usually not until after some water washes it away. I have enough trouble keeping my drivetrain clean around here:)
Em — I think I am a bit “off” most days
Johnny — it’s a dirty, dirty boulevard…. de-gunking the drivetrain sure is fun…
Good news is I will hit 350 miles tonight on the trainer. Still, I miss the commuting aspect.
Hmmm – could you post a pic of you smiling with the beard? Or do you not smile?
I do smile from time to time… but I’m really bad at smiling on command. Most of my gradeschool photos had me looking like a space alien or a Crest commercial.
I’ll try to smile next time I do an update.
You smiled here

Except for the beard, you look exactly the same. Kids look awesome, man. Congrats. Been a while. Miss you.
thanks, fakis! how’s life treatin’ you?
I saw Zach Bruno a while back on the NCR trail…
