Wrong Side of the Bed/Wrong Side of the House

I keep waking up in a different bed, due to overcrowding. I usually migrate around 5:30 or 6 am to the small bedroom in the back with my old single bed from my post-collegiate days. Then I wake up again at 8am because the alarm function in my iPod is not powerful enough to wake me up. This makes biking in impossible and usually means I don’t have time to draw with Olivia before leaving for work. Sometimes I wish I could just GET UP when I wake up with a FOOT in my back and just be…

Anywho, I spotted this on the weather channel:

…SNOW SHOWERS MOVING THROUGH THE REGION…

A BAND OF MODERATE TO BRIEFLY HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS EXTENDING FROM NEAR MARTINSBURG WEST VIRGINIA SOUTH TO GREENE COUNTY VIRGINIA WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE TO THE EAST AROUND 25 MPH. THIS LINE IS EXPECTED TO REACH THE ROUTE 28 CORRIDOR IN NORTHERN VIRGINIA BY 1130 AM. ADDITIONAL SNOW SHOWERS MAY DEVELOP FURTHER EAST TOWARD THE WASHINGTON AND BALTIMORE METRO AREAS IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS.

THESE SNOW SHOWERS ARE CAPABLE OF COVERING THE ROADS. HEAVIER SQUALLS MAY PRODUCE UP TO A QUICK HALF INCH OF ACCUMULATION IN A VERY SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. VISIBILITIES MAY BE ALSO BE REDUCED BRIEFLY TO A QUARTER MILE.

I know, I know, it won’t happen… But some exciting weather sure would be nice.

Starting yesterday morning, I’ve just been fighting a combination of being tired and being totally f’ing bored with my routine.

Happy Tuesday!

  1. Similar forcast tomorrow, I am hoping it does not produce… I have just been getting up when I wake up if it is after 4am. I love the quiet house, the coffee brewing and some time to THINK before I spend all day reacting… to work, to kids, to traffic, etc.

  2. Ah, Snew. Tamari, yea. Gotta drive me up to Lancaster to meet with a client. My beard will point the way. Hopefully no snow till I git home and hunker down with a cuppa chocolat chaud.
